Something old, something new! Tea Coasters

I am very happy to share that past 7 months, relentlessly, daily, I have been practicing zentangle artwork. I spend close to 5 hours in a day, which includes, practicing tangles, reading any related article, watch videos, watch other people’s artwork too or update my own Tangle pattern book. Today with the unconditional support from my husband and child, I could take out time and made my first Zentangle Inspired Corkboard Tea Coasters.

As promised to my daughter, the first tea coaster will be a gift to her. And I am glad, she liked it so much and I someway made her feel special. Its very nice to watch kids, express, their happiness slowly and fully (because there is not much of programmed-behaviour of expressing their joy). They listen to their natural instincts, unlike adults. 🙂

I would like to let everyone know that, I am trying to sell my artwork, not just for monetary gains but also help myself to continue my art-drawings, and be able to afford my art tools. So, if you have liked my artworks, and want to support, you can pre order Zentangle Inspired Designed Handmade Corkboard Tea Coasters here!
Thank you all for all your inspirations and motivational messages, comments, on my Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest and other networking apps.
Regards
Aishwarya Bharadwaj Darbha
P.S. Note: Zentangle Inspired Designed Corkboard Tea Coasters are made available on order/request. Please leave a message at my personal email id as of now. – adarbha 20 at gmail dotcom.

Daily Post 01

So, I am back to my routine of practicing zentangles, on my lovely treasured zentile card stocks. I am now even taking time to create my Personal Tangle Pattern Collections, including step-outs/how-to-do, as there are so many patterns out here. There are patterns out of pure zentangle too. Those are too very lovely to jot them in my book. Yesterday noon, was all so fun jotting all the tangles, and I also try to use the tangles, with my own variations. I sometimes, wonder if I was always so creative or else it is a work of Divine Intervention here? or Both? 🙂

My personal Tangle Pattern Step-Outs Collections

And so the day has started pleasantly. I made the list of the things I need to take care for this week for my home-assignments and for my artwork. So I have started with my personal Tangle Pattern Step-Out Collections, on a wonderful Fabriano EcoQua – 100% Natura A4 size/85gsm gridbook. It has 40 pages only, so have to really chose what patterns to add in. I already have pdf copy of tangle patterns from http://tanglepatterns.com but they do not include step-outs. But the best part is, they have included links of the patterns that directs us to the original sites of artists who have created the tangles.

I will review the book later, since I have to still use my Microns on them. I am still patiently drawing the step-out boxes. I am presently enjoying the feel of the non-slippery, not so hard cover and the smoothness of the acid-free papers. And above all I got them at a great discount at Amazon this month.

Zentangle Zentile 43

So today, being friday, my CZT Sandhya Manne, posted string for Zentangle Weekly Inspiration sets, so that we can practice on it for next week. I feel, everyone at Zentangle India Facebook Group wait for friday to arrive, to challenge ourselves.

So my day started late. And the rest of the day just floated – doing chores, playing with my daughter, a doc visit, a relative visit and again came back home and plan a study schedule for my daughter (which was rewarding, especially after the couple of tough days with her, in making her do lesson). Just when I thought, I won’t find time to do zentangle, I saw her studying on her own steadily and I pulled out my Zentile and started to work on it. I brought my small Zentangle kit (will share what does the kit compromises in my upcoming posts) to the living room, where she was completing her assignments and carefully began to draw. She was thrilled that  with busy listening and talking to her.

This was a total fun! I goofed up some tangles, yet they all come together beautifully. Feels to me, that today, it is reflecting my love for art and love. Just like the goofs/errors are a part of our life, that we cannot minus from the day, yet we do not give up our effort, to go and see further, what is next in for us. We continue to breathe, drink water, eat, work, play and eventually smile, even when we face a very challenging situation. We are committed to believe in the unfathomed faith within. 🙂

Thank you Lord for making this day so beautiful and bringing out the best in me here.
