Zen Coasters

So that night, a friend of mine asked me to make 4 handmade Zen Coasters for his colleague who was leaving town.  It was an urgent thing, and I had only 24 hours to do. So the next day, I sat through for 10 hours and completed the order. As much as it was exciting, it was stressful too, for I actively worked on the  ‘color’ Zen Coaster for straight 6 hours, sipping water from the bottle nearby.

Valentangle 2017

For the month of Love 😍
Its been ages since I had an excitement about Valentine’s Day/Month♥. In my childhood I loved this month because of the pleasant weather. It was after the chill winter, I once again enjoyed listening to the birds chirping on the tree, near my room window, hopping and playing. But then the teens happened, and Archie and Hallmark cards came up with this seasonal love 😍 cards, and I have to agree 👍 that I hoped, someday I would be glad to receive a Rose or a meaningful love messages on a card.

I have fond memories of my teens and more, and I used to hang around with my bestie, and we would just celebrate with a simple sandwich and ice-cream. She and I never missed the opportunity to have our little fun. 💟

Few more loving and beautiful moments are around this month, one that includes my husband, then a friend officially proposed to me during this Valentine Month and we got committed. And exactly a year later, my wedding date also got planned in the Valentine Month.

One such day

So on 18th Feb 2017, I toom out my tile after 5 days of no tangling. I had gone to my CZT Sandhya Manne’s Advanced Zentangle Class, where she taught us a new gilded technique on zentangle card stock. So after the Fabulous Zentangle Day, I came back home and didn’t feel like dropping my pen (it happens because Zentangle is so hooking) and so I continued to draw on tiles. 😊 ☺️ It was one such day. 💟

Review of the Year 2016

Year 2016 has been so much rewarding at personal/spiritual/emotional level, with little bit of health glitches and few holes in the pocket. But what I most love about the year is, my love and habitual practice of this beautiful meditative art form of Zentangle. Never knew drawing could be so easy and so fun.

It is giving me immense joy, happiness to share that in Year 2016, I completed over 200 artworks on a Zentangle Practice tiles and other platforms i.e. 600 hours of dedicated, focused, intuitive, creative, activity. The results are too personal to share here, yet very much progressive in all spheres of life. It is like Zentangle is my new baby; #mysacredspace, that has happened to me for reasons I don’t fully understand. Still I make an effort to walk through, making each day very fulfilling.img_20170111_031632-02
